In the paper one of the directions of researching properties of hard-alloy coverages, explicated in SamGTU, consisting in estimation the power criteria of durability of surface layers is displayed. It is de-scribed the sklerometer and technology of estimation the energy of plastic deformation activation. It is displayed, that reserve of toughness characterizes dyrability of hard-alloy coverages at fatigue wear process. Recommendations on coating hard-alloy detonation coverages on elements of drilling bits bases are brought.
