Optimization of acute laryngotracheitis therapy in children in accordance with evidence based medicine

Methods of treatment of acute stenosing laryngotracheitis are considered from the standpoint of evidence-based medicine. The use of new treatment algorithms led to the rejection of aggressive methods (intubation of the trachea, tracheostomy), the lack of mortality from stenosis of the larynx in the last ten years, reduced the risk of side effects, which is an important condition for the quality of medical care.
