Optimization intraluminal method of treatment of cicatricial esophageal strictures

The basis of the clinical part of the work on the analysis of complex examination and treatment of 147 patients with post-burn scar esophageal strictures. Of these, 97 patients underwent balloon esophagoplasty. The comparison group consisted of 50 patients who underwent esophageal orthograde probing hollow buzhami. Balloon esophagoplasty conducted with full consciousness of the patient. The first stage of the intervention was to hold the string. We used the soft twisted conductors «Cook» and «Olympus» diameter of 0,35 inches (0,85 mm) with atraumatic distal tip in the antrum. Probing of the esophagus was performed hollow radiopaque buzhami. Indications for balloon esophagoplasty are cicatricial stricture diameter stenosis of more than 3,5 mm and the length of the stricture at least 50 mm.
