Optimization of spring barley protection of the dominant weed in the Rostov region

The article presents the results of three-year studies on the use of herbicides from different chemical classes on crops of spring barley in soil and climatic conditions of the Azov zone of the Rostov region. The comparative assessment of biological efficiency of five of the most frequently applied herbicides, the most effective of them at a high infestation of crops with field Thistle and common ragweed. In the crops of spring barley the highest biological efficiency against the Thistle field was observed in herbicide Lancelot 450. The application of this variant of the experiment ensured the destruction of the weed by 93.2%, compared with the control, where herbicides were not used.
