Optimization of deflection in ECOTECT

The purpose of this article was to introduce the concept of shadow volumes and try to think through some relatively complex issues of solar geometry. Using a certain model of the site, create an increased shade of the sun, which will protect the entire red zone from the Sun every day from 09:00 to 17:00 from April 1 to September 10. Our task is to use the minimum amount of shading material, ensuring that no part of our shade comes closer to 2.4 m from the shaded area.
