The article presents the problem of controlling the presence of flame in the furnace of the furnace. The methods of flame control using optical sensors are considered, their advantages and disadvantages are shown. The design and parameters of optical flame sensors, which allow to control the flame in the furnace of the furnace with high reliability, are given.
