The paper deals with optoelectronic systems of monitoring the deformation state of the rotor blades of the helicopter. Described optoelectronic systems use fiber optic, optoelectronic and laser transducers for solving the original problem. In the course of analysis optoelectronic systems were divided into three main groups, such as systems based on detection reflected light flux, systems based on laser module and systems with optical sensor embedded into blades. All systems are categorized by operation philosopy and sensors types. As a part of study, their special characteristics, strengths and shortcomings have been specified.
