Experience in coronary artery bypass grafting using both internal thoracic arteries in patients with coronary heart disease

The analysis of the performance of sequential coronary artery bypass grafting using both internal thoracic arteries in 53 patients with coronary heart disease in cardioplegia, the parallel artificial circulation on a beating heart and OPCAB.The immediate clinical success of coronary bypass surgery was achieved in all groups of patients with no reliable intergroup differences. Analysis of results showed that the execution of sequential coronary artery bypass grafting using both internal thoracic arteries is an effective method of total arterial coronary artery bypass grafting.
