Experience in remote monitoring of croplands

In the agricultural sector, Exactfarming software, operating as an online service, takes advantage of remote monitoring in crop production. It is carried out by measuring NDVI, EVI, NDMI, MSAVI2, which are used mainly in the calculation of vegetation indices of vegetation. Since the software currently uses data from multispectral channels (resolution 10-30 m) of the Sentinel-2A satellites launched in 2015 and the second Sentinel-2B satellite launched in 2017, updated images of the surface of the studied area can be obtained every 3-5 days. Based on these data, an electronic map of winter wheat fields was created in 2020 on an area of 14.92 hectares in the Khalach district of Turkmenistan, and remote monitoring was conducted experimentally for 1.5 years. During the experimental observation, various agrotechnical measures were regularly carried out on the sown area, control was carried out over the correct conditions of plant growth, water supply, crop rotation, level level, climatic conditions and proper performance of other tasks.
