The experience of state-confessional relations in 1917-1930s that is recorded in the documents of State archives of the Republic of Buryatia (on the materials of orthodox and old believer communities)

The article examines the information potential of the document collection of the State Archive of Republic of Buryatia, which makes it possible to examine the transformation of state-church relations in the 1917-1930s. The set of documents of party and state bodies, public organizations and religious institutions provides researchers with the opportunity to study historical events objectively.
