H. White's experience: concerning genre borders in the historical knowledge

The article considers the problem of transferring aesthetic categories to the historiography. In this context the author analyzes the epistemological implications of the review of traditional borders between literature and history undertaken by Hayden White. The article discusses transformation of the epistemological status of historical knowledge considering the introduction of art experience categories into historical science.
