The research experience of a scientist's idiostyle (based on Leonid Murzin's writings)

The article is devoted to the usage of the notion «author's image» to analyze the individual speech style of a scientist. The crucial style features of Leonid N. Mursin's scientific works are described using his hypothesis of the main axiological research principle. The following features are revealed: the priority of the stage speech genre; increased density of the given in the text heuristic ideas; specific indirectness of the utterances comprising the key senses; conformity with the style and speech norms of both written and oral speech, etc.
