Experience of energy efficiency and energy saving in the industry under the standard ISO 50001

The article shows the application of the energy management system in the republic in accordance with the requirements of the international standard ISO 50001: 2011 using the example of the Bukhara oil refinery. Measures are being taken in Bukhara Oil Refinery to increase energy efficiency. To reduce emissions of harmful gases and save energy, frequency converters are installed on pump electric motors. Reconstruction of the pumping station of cooling water, where instead of 4 engines with a capacity of 0.4 kV to 160 kW, 2 high-voltage electric motors of 400 kW are installed, which in turn will increase energy efficiency. Modernization of burners on boilers for joint burning of natural and process gas, which is formed in the production process, has been carried out. The ISO 50001 standard adds value in terms of accelerating the development and commercialization of energy-efficient products and renewable energy sources. The introduction of the standard will reduce greenhouse gas emissions and other environmental impacts, and will reduce energy costs through systemic energy management. It has been received that the introduction of the energy management system is an innovative solution that is associated with the modernization of existing production and management based on the use of the best world practice in energy saving and helps organizations save money and resources.
