The use of dynamic electroneurostimulation in patients with metabolic syndrome

The purpose of the study was to determine the effectiveness of dynamic electroneurostimulation in the treatment of metabolic syndrome. A total of 30 overweight women aged 17-60 years were enrolled in the study. The inclusion criteria were as follows: body mass index greater than 26, absence of contraindications for electroreflexotherapy. Acute gastrointestinal diseases and type 1 diabetes mellitus were considered as exclusion criteria. Our data suggest high effectiveness of dynamic electroneurostimulation in patients with metabolic syndrome. The method has multiple advantages, including complex effect on different components of pathogenesis, correction of concomitant disorders, non-invasiveness, and good tolerability.
