Experience of practical application of plasma and pulse influence on petroleum plastes

The article describes the history of plasma pulse technology, the results of the practical application of technology in specific geological conditions in complex terrigenous and carbonate reservoirs. The concept of a plasma-pulse effect on the formation with the purpose of enhanced oil recovery is presented, and the physicochemical processes occurring in the formation, as well as the main advantages and disadvantages of this method are described; argued the choice of the considered technology impact on the reservoir.
