The purpose of the conference is the exchange of experience and demonstration of scientific and practical achievements in the field of creation and maintenance of digital data banks of cartographic sources in Russia in 18th - 20th centuries as well as modern possibilities of creating web-mapping services based on retro-information, and popularization of cartographic activity in general.
