Experience of implementation of technologies of social work with women in the Republic of Mordovia

The article analyzes the experience of the public institutions of social protection of the Republic of Mordovia, guaranteeing the right to social services and social support to citizens who find themselves in difficult situations. We consider the specifics of technology of social work with women as special and regular clients of social services. Are distinguished categories of women as clients of social services, depending on the specifics of the request and the type of assistance provided by the social worker. Examples of structural units of institutions of social protection of the population in the region in relation to women seeking help. Explains the trends and technologies of social work on optimization of the social status and decision difficult situation of the fairer sex. As a result, marked positive trends of social work with women in the Republic of Mordovia: the absence of discrimination in the provision of assistance; a variety of technologies and areas of social work; compliance with goals, objectives and principles of activity of the social services needs of the many women who are in difficult situations. Also observed the contradictions and weaknesses of social assistance to women in need: the woman remains passive recipient of social assistance; little consideration of the gender dimension in social work directions, there is simulation of patriarchal values and attitudes, gender stereotyping.
