Experience insurance in case of temporary incapacity UK

The article highlights the experience of state social insurance in case of temporary disability in the UK. The role of the government in the social insurance system is to provide general guidance on the basis of recommendations on ways to reduce the incidence of morbidity, the development of additional medical and other measures aimed at encouraging sick workers to return to work as soon as possible. Assigning the responsibility of employers for the full payment of benefits leads to increased interest of employers in regulating and controlling the incidence of workers. It is concluded that in the UK, unlike the practice of Russia, the emphasis on temporary disability is not made on fixing the disease, but on achieving an early recovery, encouraging the employee to start working.
