Transformation of higher education abroad in the light of Russian educational system modernization

The article explores the experience of foreign universities, successfully carrying out the movement on the way to global academic heights. Exploring the example of the modernization of Chinese universities, the experience of American universities and the strategies of building world-class research universities, the author tries to identify and analyze the mechanisms applicable to Russian higher education reality in general and to the Far Eastern Federal University in particular.
