The experience of cooperation of border troops with the regional governmental and public organizations of Primorye and Khabarovsk territories and the local population in the interest of the state border protection during the postwar period (1945-1960)

The article describes the main areas of cooperation between the border troops with the population, party and Soviet bodies on the organization of protection of the state border. The review of the regulatory framework on the involvement of local population in the border security contributed to the improvement of the country's defense.
