The article deals with one of the trends of archiving applied by the European Commission: an arrangement of the public access to the documents. It focuses on the procedure of the document transfer from the European Commission’s agencies and bodies to historical archives, the principles of the document delivery for the public access. The author also concentrates on the data applications that enable the efficient search of the information in the Commission’s official documents of any form and type of filing.
