Organization and social structure (T. Parsons’ point of view)

The article is devoted to the analysis of social organization as a component of the social structure of society in the theory of T. Parsons. Organization is defined as a set of social status-roles that institutionalizing specific motivational and value orientations. It is regarded as a pole of social structure opposite a kinship system. The problems are defined that are caused by the position of the organization in the social structure of modern societies.
