The article is devoted to the problem of organization of fair trade in the municipality «Yekaterinburg city» in order to develop the consumer market. The article analyzes the practice of organizing fairs by municipal authorities, identifies the main organizational shortcomings, identifies trends in the development of this direction. Also, the author offers practical recommendations to improve the efficiency of the fair trade organization in Yekaterinburg.
