Organization of separate collection of solid municipal waste in Russia

The article presents an overview of the regulatory documents governing theprocedure for separate waste collection including the investment program of theregional operator in St. Petersburg. The need to introduce additional targets inthe strategic documents of the industry, creating competition in the waste marketbetween large, small and medium-sized entrepreneurs is considered and justified.All of the above, in turn, will ensure the efficient processing of secondary resources,minimizes the disposal of non-recycled waste and ensures profitability for allindustry participants.
