Organization of accommodation and catering for tourists in rural areas

One of the areas for the development of the tourism sector, which is aimed at protecting and developing nature, cultural and historical heritage, attracting people to actively participate in solving their own financial problems, and promoting the employment of the unemployed, is the development of rural tourism. Rural tourism pursues the main goal - to form a new agro-tourism product that goes beyond the traditional idea of a tourist offer, and which would take into account the natural, historical and cultural specifics of the regions, and also allow to significantly diversify the traditional offer, which will be of the greatest interest from the point of view of in terms of attracting quite demanding foreign tourists. The article deals with the problems of development of tourism business in the Republic of Kyrgyzstan. The statistical data of tourist flows from 2018 to 2021 are analyzed. The results of the PEST-analysis are given (on the example of the Issyk-Kul region). It is indicated that the sphere of tourism business has the effect of emergence, as it allows to accumulate all the resources of the territory. The need to form a complete “map” of tourist routes, provided with sufficient tangible and intangible resources, is indicated. The article will be of interest to students, undergraduates and applicants engaged in research in this area, as well as to everyone who wants to get acquainted with this problem.
