The new educational standard of higher professional education of the third generation recommends transforming of the traditional model of training as a model of knowledge transfer into a model of knowledge processing and designing. Effective planning and organization of the students’ unsupervised work will promote the achievement of this purpose. In this case а foreign language as an educational subject is considered not only as a means of the linguistic knowledge mastering necessary for the career progress, but also as a means of independent acquisition of the relevant information in the vocational field.
