Organization of trade of Shanxi province merchants in Mongolia and Siberia

The article presents a comparative characteristic of the organization of trade activities of merchants of Shanxi province on the territory of Mongolia and Siberia during the Qing dynasty. Based on the analysis of sources in Russian and Chinese, the main features of the economic behavior of Shanxi traders on the Mongolian and Siberian markets are determined. In modern conditions, the intensification of cooperation between Russia, Mongolia and China in various fields, the experience of trilateral interaction on the territory of the cross-border area requires rethinking. One of the particularly important aspects of the relationship between the peoples of Siberia, Mongolia and China is the study of trade as an intensive and significant path of intercultural contacts. The study of the historical experience of trade relations on the territory of Siberia - Mongolia - China during the reign of the Qing dynasty is of interest not only from the standpoint of analyzing the peculiarities of trade by subjects of economic relations in the region under consideration, but also from the point of view of understanding the process of forming stereotypes of peoples about each other.
