Organizational culture and value orientations of employee

The article deals with the problems of organizational culture in social psychology. In the majority of studies values of groups had been investigated without connection with a type of organizational culture, that was, in our opinion, the significant disadvantage, because assessing of organizational culture type often included only leaders’ opinion studying. The research aimed at studying correlation of organizational culture type and values of employee personality. The Rokeach's technique of value orientations and organizational culture assessment instrument (OCAI) were used. Assessment of formed and preferred types of organizational culture allowed testing the significance of estimates differences with help of Mann-Whitney test. To study correlation between organizational culture and employees’ values we used Spearman criterion. As a result, for each identified type of culture we had found associated with it values of employees.
