In modern conditions, issues related to youth public associations in educational organizations that contribute to the dynamic development of the Russian economy and society are becoming particularly relevant. The article analyzes the organizational and economic aspects of the functioning of public associations in educational organizations, discusses their classification, goals and functions. Modern Russian legislation is aimed at stimulating the creation of public associations, involving young people in student self-government, entrepreneurship, and socially significant activities. Currently, the number of public associations is steadily growing, their types and content are periodically changing. Youth student associations show students professionally significant qualities and professional competencies, develop entrepreneurial abilities, implement social innovations, and contribute to the implementation of student initiatives. The priority direction of the development of the Russian economy is the development of small businesses that can dynamically respond to changing external conditions. Among the main tasks facing Russian universities is the need to develop youth technological entrepreneurship, contributing to the achievement of strategic objectives for the development of high-tech industries and reducing the impact of Western sanctions on the economy. It is noted that youth public associations, in which initiatives are born and supported, become the main factor of economic development. Knowledge about the cultural and moral values of youth allows you to adjust youth policy, and with its help to predict the prospects for the development of the economy and society.
