Juvenile crimes in the Astrakhan region: current state and trends

The article is devoted to the analysis of changes in the criminal situation among minors in the Astrakhan region for the period from mid-2023 to early 2024. There has been a significant decrease in the number of crimes, especially serious and group offenses, but certain risk zones remain, where an increase in crime rates is recorded. The authors highlight the role of family factors, the educational process and the activity of law enforcement agencies in the fight against child crime. The presented projects on the prevention of antisocial behavior, such as "I am a patriot" and "Healthy Generation - moving forward", are considered as effective tools for reducing antisocial manifestations. In conclusion, it is concluded that it is necessary to maintain interdepartmental cooperation and further improve the comprehensive system for preventing violations of the law among young residents of the region.
