The article elaborates organizational and tactic peculiarities of police transboundary cooperation at investigations and detections of transportation thefts. Taking into account the near-border cooperation the authors come up with a proposal of putting to use achievements of science and technology for prevention, investigation and detection of this kind of crimes.
