Organized crime of the far east: its state and ways of fight against it

Today, organized crime poses a serious threat to public security and stability of Russia. Especially dangerous is a growing rate of criminalization in economic processes. This article provides a brief analysis of the fight against organized crime, its status and dynamics in the Far East, as well as legislative developments aimed at decriminalization of the regional economy. On the example of several criminal cases the author shows that crime statistics is bias.
