Organized criminal groups: structure and organization of criminal activities

Some certain issues of such socially dangerous phenomenon as organized criminality are considered in the article. There are described schemes of establishment of organized criminal groups and criminal communities and revealed their kinds, types, directions of criminal activities and ways of its realization. The technological scheme of establishment and organization of activities of organized criminal groups, including legal-functional, situational-operational, economic-functional scheme and their contents are relatively discussed in detail. The matters of organized group criminal encroachments, including the activi- ties of organized criminality in the field of economy and organized criminality of conventional criminality are revealed. The circumstances of the mixed criminal activities of organized criminal groups that are economic and conventional orientation are shown simultaneously. An attempt is made to reveal the structure of organized criminal groups and criminal communities as structural units as a part of the general organized criminality. The specific features of organized criminal groups, mani- fested in their criminal activities, which can be used for the purpose of combating this type of criminality, are briefly revealed. There are proposals on the use of specific features of organized criminal groups and criminal communities in the detection, investigation of crimes committed by them and for preventive purposes.
