Orchidaceae juss. in the Southern Urals: monitoring in protected and other areas, protection issues

There are some of the results of the study of types of Orchidaceae Juss. flora of the south Urals within the limits of the Republic of Bashkortostan in protected and other territories. It is shown that the most effective form of protection of rare Orchid species is their protection in protected areas. It is shown that the effectiveness of protection of species with different life forms, life strategies and ecological-phytocenotic confinement depends on the choice of methods and methods of protection. In order to preserve some species in the territories of reserves, it is necessary to maintain extensive economic use of habitats (single mowing at the end of summer or every two or three years for communities of meadow species) with their transfer to the rank of sites with limited economic activity. To preserve the population structure of species effective measure will be the organization of new protected areas for the conservation of species not protected, raising the status of individual protected areas and the creation of buffer zones with a special regime of protection around the reserves.
