Ornithological fauna of the Jewish autonomous region

The article represents species of birds registered by the end of 2009 in the Bastack and Zabelovsky nature reserves, in the Jewish autonomous region. On the basis of field materials analysis, information from books, a list of birds of 301 species, belonging to 54 families, 19 orders, has been cited. For every species its Latin name is given, as well as the information concerning its quantity and a form of residence. The article is a short reference book on the fauna of birds in the Jewish autonomous region. The article is assigned to ornithologists, zoologists, ecologists, representatives of nature protection organizations, teachers, students and naturalists.
