Based on the various types of source materials and periodical publications as well as the materials from field ethnographic expeditions, the ritual autumn calendar in Oppilia has been studied. This paper examines The Beheading of Saint John the Baptist as the main celebration in autumn calendar connected with Cosmobiological and taboo activities. The final stage of the autumn season is the Memorial Day on St. Dimitri and St. Michael.
