Complications in dental implant surgery based on sociological survey

Бесплатный доступ

The article features the results of sociological survey among a large group of dentists. Typical complications in dental implant surgery are maxillary sinus perforation and lower alveolar nerve affection. The author recommends application of computer technologies (multi-spiral CT, dental 3-D tomography) in all stages of dental implant surgery. When lower alveolar nerve injury is suspected, it is impractical to use electro-physiological investigations.
