The whole process of treating Parkinson's disease (PD) can be divided into two stages: the initial one, when there is an improvement in the condition of patients and therapy, as a rule, is not accompanied by serious complications, and the later one, characterized by the appearance of new symptoms and iatrogenic complications associated with treatment. Most patients receiving specific antiparkinsonian therapy are at the second stage of treatment.
