The keeping of one-month young male rats in conditions of constant or natural illumination intensity of Karelia (“white nights”) within 3 months period leads to unidirectional disorders of kidney functions. The change of the photoperiod toward the increase of the light phase does not have a direct influence on kidneys’ function though leads to pineal Gland hypofunction. Such malfunction affects hormone regulation of hypotholamus-hypophysis-adrenal system and causes revealed disorders.
Constant illumination, natural lighting, pineal gland, osmoregulatory kidney function, ion-regulatory kidney function
