The article describes the evolution of rules-based international order. Formed by the West, it is gradually being eroded by sanctions, tariff wars, and flagrant violations of WTO norms. All of this creates the preconditions for the emergence of a new bipolarity. This will entail not only economic competition but also a clash of ideas and values. It is a serious challenge for countries in the Global South: they must propose a new system of rules without repeating the West's mistakes, including preventing the emergence of a system with a single dominant player.
