Wind refers to renewable or alternative energy sources. Its advantages are obvious: the wind blows always and everywhere, it does not need to be “mined”. The total reserves of wind energy in the world are estimated at 170 trillion kWh, or 170 thousand terawatt hours (TWh) per year, which is eight times higher than the current world electricity consumption. That is, theoretically, all energy supply in the world can be provided solely due to wind energy. And if you remember that its use does not pollute the atmosphere, hydrosphere and soil, then this energy source seems ideal. But, alas, everything has a flip side, and wind power is no exception.
