The main aspects of architecture development in the northern regions

The article deals with the issues of integrated development of the Northern regions and the formation of support zones with developed scientific and industrial complexes and comfortable housing. It presents the prerequisites for the emergence of new trends in the architecture of the North, thanks to the study of the history of northern residential buildings and providing its residents with comfortable conditions more than a hundred years ago. This experience is an invaluable material for creating typological features of architectural and structural elements. The study aims to present the main criteria for the development of new architectural solutions and structural elements used to create comfortable living conditions for people in the north. The objectives of the presented research include the study of the architecture of historical settlements of the North, the analysis of spatial planning and artistic solutions, and energy conservation in residential and public buildings. The paper analyses the experience of using industrial enterprises and housing construction in different regions of the North, taking into account the preservation of ecology and energy-efficient technologies.
