Basic characteristics of dead patients with drug addiction and causes of their deaths in Kemerovo district

Based on 28 analyzed death certificates according to data of Kemerovo District Bureau of forensic-medical expertise of persons under account at KDCSAD with diagnosis «opium addiction», we have revealed peculiarities in indices characterizing mortality of this contingent. We have recommended carrying out study and analysis of causes among addicts according to a uniform method for comparison of obtained results and calculation of average indices of mortality in country as a whole.
