The main stages of geological modeling of oil and gas fields and its role in improving the economic efficiency of oil projects

Due to the stock depletion of oil and gas of the main fields of Russia, change of economic conditions the main objective in case of development of fields to complete extraction of the extracted hydrocarbons with the maximum economic profitability is directed. For achievement of the fullest coverage and coefficient of oil recovery advanced technologies, in particular computer modeling are used. In article, the main stages and necessary data for creation of geological model of oil and gas fields are considered. The software products used in case of geological modeling are given.
