The main stages of parliamentarianism evolution in Russia until 1993

The article covers the main historical stages of parliamentarianism institutions’ development in Russia, role and place of legislative institutions in the system of public administration, historical traditions of direct political participation of the people, features of transformation of the management structure during crisis of the Russian statehood. The author believes that cooperation between the representatives of the people with other political institutions during the considered period of time didn’t result in ultimate legitimization of the regime, and such a minor status of these structures has become well-established in the current political practices.
