The purpose of this article is to analyze the methods for assessing the reliability of on-board radio electronic electronic equipment (EIR) during the development stage, their practical application, the reliability of the results, a proposal of an alternative approach to conducting equivalent-cyclical tests of EIR of civil aircraft.
