The main directions of the formation of patriotic consciousness of student youth: regional aspect

For Russian society, the sociocultural value of patriotism is especially significant, since repeatedly in historical retrospect it acted as the spiritual basis for unity, consolidation of Russian society, a condition for preserving its identity and ensuring a special place in the world community. The article is devoted to the analysis of the value of patriotism of young people. Based on the analysis of the results of a sociological study conducted among students of the Penza region, the author distinguishes the main ways of forming patriotic consciousness among students.
