General directions and priorities for implementation of youth policy in the current situation in the russian federation

The article analyzes the special situation of young people as a separate socio-demographic group of the population and identifies its main features and characteristics, as well as the basic goals and objectives of youth policy at the present stage. Young people should be considered as a separate socio-demographic group because it has certain social relations and social forms. Like any socio-demographic group young people have a number of specific features caused by the nature of the group. It should be noted that the state youth policy is one of the most important activities of the state, as it can be assessed as a direct contribution to the future of the country. Young people may destabilize the situation in the country because of their social insecurity and lack of public attention or bring Russia to a new higher level of development opening new opportunities to the country. In the current economic and political situation youth policy requires an update as every direction in the state policy. Therefore, new evidence-based strategy of state youth policy should be developed.
