Basic directions of increasing efficiency of functioning of small business in modern economic conditions

The article describes the main directions for improving the efficiency of small business development in the modern Russian economy. A comparative analysis of state support for the development of small business in Russia, the southern Federal district and the Krasnodar territory is carried out. It is revealed that the effective development of the small sector of the economy requires serious state support at the legislative level, expanding the involvement of extra-budgetary sources of funding, as well as further elaboration of issues of state regulation and implementation of existing programs to support the development of small businesses.
