Main directions of application of information technologies in higher education institutions of Kazakhstan

The article discusses the main directions of application of information technology in universities in Kazakhstan. The essence, content and historical aspects of the use of information technologies in the educational process are investigated, various approaches to the classification of information technologies are described.
